Overview

RPG Token Maker (rpgtokenmaker.com) is a free, browser-based tool for creating VTT tokens.

Your images never leave your device, we do not require an account, and we do not sell personal data.

Image Processing

All image processing—cropping, borders, text labels, and export—happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. No images are uploaded to our servers or to any third-party image processing service.

We do not have the ability to view, access, or store the images you use with this tool.

Local Storage

RPG Token Maker uses your browser's localStorage to save tool preferences such as selected border, color, export size, format, and label settings. localStorage is used for preferences only and does not store image files.

This preference data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it through your browser settings at any time, which resets saved preferences.

Analytics

We do not currently run third-party analytics scripts on the site interface.

  • If analytics is enabled in the future, it will be limited to aggregated usage metrics such as page views and navigation patterns
  • If enabled, analytics may include approximate region, browser/device type, and referral source
  • Any future product events would exclude uploaded image content

If Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is enabled later, we will update this policy and provide opt-out guidance, including the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

RPG Token Maker does not currently run third-party advertising scripts such as Google AdSense.

If advertising is added in the future, this policy will be updated before ads are enabled. We do not sell personal data directly to advertisers.

Cookies

RPG Token Maker uses minimal storage for functionality and may use analytics cookies only if analytics is enabled.

  • GA4 cookies (only if enabled) (_ga, _ga_*) — analytics measurement, typically up to 2 years
  • Advertising cookies — not currently in use. This policy will be updated if advertising is enabled later.

We do not use localStorage for image files. localStorage is used only for tool preferences and is not transmitted with HTTP requests.

No Account or Personal Information

We do not offer user accounts, logins, or registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information through the tool itself.

If you contact us by email, we will use your email address only to respond to your inquiry.

Children's Privacy

RPG Token Maker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
